Many hands make light work!

On Wednesday the pond garden was invaded by a team of dedicated gardeners who spent a couple of hours weeding, pruning, digging and sweeping to make this wonderful outdoor learning environment ready for the summer term. The clear up was assisted by the new garden shredder purchased from the money raised at last year's plant and vegetable sales. The workforce had their work cut out for them, after two hours everybody was impressed with what had been achieved in such a short space of time. The weather was fabulous, the discovery of frogs in the new pond and to end the session tea and homemade sausage rolls/cake - the workforce were truly rewarded for their efforts. What is there not to like about gardening!
