U11A Team report by Issy
On Wednesday 6th of June U11 girls A team played rounders against St Edmund's School. We lost the toss and we went to bat. We scored eight rounders and then they went into bat and managed to score four rounders.
In the second innings we scored four further rounders, all thanks to some amazing rounders by Ari. When they went into bat for the second time and scored four and half rounders. The end score was twelve rounders to us and eight and half rounders to St Edmund's. Well done girls.
U11B Team report by Lily
On Wednesday 6th of June London under 11 B team played rounders against St Edmunds. We lost the toss and battered first scoring ten rounders witn excellent batting by Skye, Siena and Lily. Next it was our turn to field. We kept them from scoring any full rounders leaving the score for St Edmunds at the end of the first innings at three and a half rounders.
The second innings started well with Lorenden scoring nine rounders with some great hits by Skye. Our fielding was fantastic with some amazing catches by Maddie. St Edmunds scored four rounders in the second innings making the final score nineteen for Lorenden and seven and a half for St Edmunds.
Player of the match is Maddie for excellent catching skills. Well done Maddie and well done team.
