On Wednesday the 9th of May the U11 girls played Gad’s Hill at home. We lost the toss and they chose to field first. We batted well scoring 13 rounders, then it was their turn to bat. We fielded well with 2 great catches from Issy and Matilda, causing two Gad’s Hill team members to be out. In that inning, Gad’s Hill played well but only managed to score 4 and a half rounders to our 13.
In the second inning, and we got ready to bat, but with their great fielding we only managed to score 8 and a half rounders. It was then their turn to bat again and there was some great throwing from Millie, Lauren, Rosie, Flora, Eva, Dolly and Issy, and excellent catching from Ari, Lola, Matty and Flora. Gad’s Hill managed to score 7 rounders leaving the end result 11 and a half to Gad’s and 21 and a half to Lorenden.
Player of the match goes to Issy for great running and great throws. Well done Issy and well done team.
