On Thursday 17th May the U9 girls ‘A’ team played rounders against Spring Grove. We lost the toss and Spring Grove decided to field first. I scored the first half rounder and with extraordinary power Skye hit the first rounder. We all worked hard to do our best. With two minutes to go Nuala hit the last half rounder giving us a final score of 1 and a half round to Lorenden.
Next it was our turn fielding we caught a few people out at the beginning with Siena’s excellent bowling. Bea, Skye and Olivia caught quite a few people out on second post. With one minute to go, we tried our best not to let Spring Grove get a rounder and in the last second we got another person out. The final score was six and a half rounders to Spring Grove and thirteen and a half rounders to Lorenden. Well done team!
