On 23rd February Year 1 played friendly football matches against St Peter’s, Canterbury and Boughton Primary Schools. Everyone enjoyed the day and it was great to have different schools and classes to play proper matches against. Parents came to watch and Year 2 watched the matches as well.
The weather was sunny. We played on the outside pitch first and then played in the hall.
A lot of goals were scored. The best ones for Lorenden were scored by James, Alfie, Harris, Clara and Libby.
James scored the most goals. Libby was really good at kicking the ball a long way. Harris kicked the ball the hardest and Alfie kicked the ball against the wall the most times when we played in the hall! Man of the Match is Harris.
