On Wednesday 2nd October 2019 the U11 boys went to a football tournament at Spring Grove.

First we played against St Romans. Unfortunately, we didn't get kick off which meant that we had to put pressure on straight away.  We were playing well, passing the ball and having great shots. Then the half time whistle went with the score 0-0.

We didn't get to have a team talk which meant that we got straight back into the game. Despite everything we tried, their defence was solid leaving the score 0-0 at the end of our first game.

After a ten minute break, we played Ashford. We were communicating well and passing well but the half time whistle went leaving the score 0-0 at half time. Again, we didn't get a team talk which meant that we got back into the game, it was a pretty even game but the score ended 0-0.

Next we played King’s Rochester. We started off strongly but they also started strongly as well. They got the ball down the wing and scored. All of a sudden Arthur made a run and passed to Joey who scored leaving the score 1-1 at half time, despite all of our effort Kings scored two more times leaving the score 3-1 at the end of the game.

Unfortunately, we didn't get through to the quarter final.

Man of the match was Tom M for his great mid-fielding. Well done Tom and well done team.
