On Wednesday 20th November Lorenden U11 A boys’ football team played Kent College at home.

It was a hard game, they won the toss and got the ball up the pitch with good passing but thanks to our good defence we quickly cleared the ball up to the other side of the pitch. Unluckily they scored three excellent goals, then Arthur took a shot which hit the post, but all of a sudden Joey came sprinting in to score the first goal.

When they started the game again I put pressure on and got the ball to score the second goal right before half time. After an enthusiastic team talk we got back on the pitch but unluckily they scored three more goals leaving the score 6-2 to Kent College.

Man of the match was Joey for his great playing all round. Well done Joey and well done team - keep it up for the rugby!

On Wednesday 20th November 2019 Lorenden U11B boys' football team played Kent College at home we won the toss and started the game.

We started strongly putting one in the bottom corner. As we were driving up the pitch they tackled us and scored on the counter making the score 1-1. We kicked off and Oscar scored an amazing goal to make the score 2-1 to Lorenden then Kent college scored four more goals, making the score 5-2 to Kent College. At half time with some encouraging words from Mr Norton and a substitution for Dylan to come in for Magnus.

The second half was much better for us and we played more attacking and we passed much more. But Kent College were too good and they scored two more goals leaving the score 7-2 to them.

Man of the Match was Thomas B.
