On Wednesday 13th of November 2019 Lorenden U11 boys A team played Northbourne Park away. When we arrived the B team played, after that the A team played.
We kicked off first so we got the ball up the pitch for the first time to Joey who crossed it in which went of for a corner. Northbourne drove up the pitch taking a shot which went to the back of the net. Shortly after Joey whipped in a corner which Gilbert smashed into the back of the net.
After half time one of the Northbourne players got an excellent shot on his left foot that went in the top right corner, after a great pass from Alex up the wing to Joey he crossed it in, then one of the Northbourne players got headed the ball and accidentally scored an own goal leaving the score 2-2 at the end of the game.
Man of the match was Alex for his great performance on the left wing, well done Alex and well done team.

On Wednesday the 13th of November under 11 boys played Northbourne school away. We lost the toss, but the start of the match was fairly balanced until Northbourne managed to score on a counter attack. The team responded quite quickly, when a pass back to the Northbourne goalie failed to control the ball and allowed me to tackle him and score. At half time the score was level at 1-1 with all to play for.
With some inspirational words from Mr Waitt we got the second half started with confidence. After a good few minutes, Oscar made a lovely pass to me whilst I was luckily standing in the middle of the box to score again. At the end of the game the score was 2-1 to Lorenden. Man of the match was me nominated by Mr Norton and Mr Waitt. Well done team and keep it up!
