U11A report
On Wednesday 28th November we travelled to a very wet and muddy Northbourne Park for last game of the season. We were inspired by watching a great come back in the second half by the B team who scored two great goals.

We lost the toss and they started. From the beginning it was a very hard fought match. In the first half we defended really well with Raif and Oscar keeping them off with some good saves frome Bertie too. We tried to push forward with Leo, Joey and Alex trying to infiltrate their packed defence. It was a very even game until the Northbourne centre forward scored a good goal bouncing in off the crossbar.

After an enthusiastic team talk from Mr Waitt we went out determined to win.  We started to pass the ball really well and everyone fought for each ball. We had some good long shots from Joey and Alex, but could not find the goal.

With time running out we got a corner and Alex took it. The first cross was blocked but Alex put in a  brilliant second cross and William was there to glance a header into the far post.

Despite our best efforts we could not find the winning goal, but we had kept our best performance of the season until the last game.

Man of the match was Will chosen by Mr Waitt. Thank you to Mr Waitt and Mr Norton for all their help and coaching during the season. A great football season keep it up for the rugby.

U11B report
On Wednesday 28th November Lorenden under 11s B team played football against Northbourne Park.  Edward and Magnus were great in defence, and we worked well as a team, but despite this Northbourne Park scored two goals in the first half.

We picked up our game in the second half with the first Lorenden goal coming from Oscar who smashed it into the back of the net. Edward brought the score to 2-2 with a great goal scored from the box.

Unfortunately, in the final minutes of the game, Northbourne Park scored their third goal,  making the final score 3-2 to Northbourne Park.
