On the 17th October, the Under 11s B team played St Lawrence’s on their home ground.
We kicked off and I got the ball but was quickly tackled by a St Lawrence forward who made the right decision to pass it to their best player who was waiting on the wing. He made a breakthrough and scored their first goal.
Unfortunately, that set the scene for the first part of the match and they put three more into the back of the net before half-time. Lorenden made a come back thanks to Gilbert who scored a good goal. So, at half-time the score was 4- 1 to St Lawrence.
In the second half, St Lawrence proved they were the better team, scoring a further 6 goals in the second half to make the final score 10 -1.
It certainly wasn’t our best match but we tried hard and stayed positive until the end.
