It was a chilly afternoon for the match on Wednesday 12 February against Dover.
Dover only brought one team so had to double up against Lorenden A and B teams.
Lorenden B team played 2 matches against the same team and started with an early lead. Mollie again was strong as a shooter with some excellent support from Imogen. Caitlin made some excellent interceptions and enabled Lorenden to have the upper hand.
Our opponents were running out of steam, having had to play the A team earlier, but battled on valiantly, contesting every throw.
Gracie as Goal Defence was strong and the match ended at 7-1 to Lorenden.
Player of this match was Caitlin.
In the second game I came on as GK. The Dover team rallied their defence and managed to close down our opportunities for goal, but we still managed to score 3 times thanks to good work in the D from Mollie and Imogen. Sophie did brilliant work as Goal Defence, earning her Player of the Match. Final score was 3-1 to Lorenden.
Well done everyone, a brilliant way to end the term.
