On Wednesday the 29th of January we played Kings Rochester at home. Quickly after we started we scored two goals to Kings Rochester’s one goal. It was a close first quarter and by the end of it the score was 3-3. Throughout the next two quarters we did excellent passing and interceptions so when the whistle blew, the score was 9-7 to Lorenden. In the last quarter Kings Rochester played fantastically and scored four goals to our one. We all tried our hardest to score again but unfortunately the whistle blew and the end score was 12- 10 to Kings Rochester. It was a very close match and everyone played fantastically. The man of the match was Siena. Well done Siena and well done team.

On Wednesday 29 January 2020 B team had a match against Kings Rochester at home. Lorenden won the toss and chose first centre pass.  At the start of the match Lorenden had an early lead with Mollie doing some excellent scoring. Gracie as Wing D was brilliant and Sophie as Goal D stopped any chances of goals from the opposition.

Nuala started us off in the second half with some great centre passes and it was obvious that Lorenden’s dominance was going to continue.  We continued to press forward and score freely.  Mollie hardly missed a shot and Imogen helped Mollie to get into this position.  When Rachel took over as Goal Keeper she did some excellent interceptions and you could see that Lorenden were going to extend their lead. Lorenden won 18-4, putting last week’s poor performance firmly behind us.

Player of the match nominated by Kings Rochester was Imogen.

Well done team.  Keep it up for the next match.
