On Thursday 8th September the U9 boys played in a football tournament at Spring Grove. Our first game was against Dover College. We passed the ball around well. Tom and Liam combined well. Finally a goal came with a great shot from Dylan. This was followed by another goal that went in off a defender’s head from our corner.
The final score was a 2-0 to us.
Our next game was against Ashford. There was good defending from Ashwin and also crunching tackles on their centre forward from Thomas B. Sembeh made some long goal kicks and great saves. Unfortunately, we were not at our best and Ashford deserved their 5-0 win.
Man of the Match was Sembeh for his excellent goal keeping.
