It was a sunny and windy day when Lorenden U9 Boys played Spring Grove at Ashford Hockey Club on Thursday 7th March. We started well with Dylan quickly scoring our first goal.
Our defence was strong with Sembeh, Thomas and Tom. Tom, Liam, Milo and Rufus did good tackles in the midfield. George did well in his first match at Lorenden. Henry nearly scored a goal. Thomas also nearly scored two goals. Daniel kept his stick down and Liam did good stick work. We have worked hard in our training practice with Mr Waitt and this showed in our match. The final score was 11-0 to Lorenden.

Man of the match was Sembeh for excellent defensive work and scoring three quick goals when he moved up front in the last quarter. Well done Sembeh and well done team.
