On Thursday 7th November 2019 the girls' U9 A team played Kings Rochester at home.

We won the toss and took first centre pass, Holly dribbled down the pitch to score our first goal, next it was their centre pass and they passed the ball straight to me! I dribbled up the pitch dodging the Kings girls and passed to Maiya, who then passed back to me, I took a shot and scored our 2nd goal. Again it was their centre pass, this time they passed to Maiya who passed back to Holly. Holly managed to score another 2 goals before the half-time whistle blew.

We had a great team talk with Mrs Cornell, River and Faith switched over and we all got on the pitch wanting to score a few more goals… It was their centre pass, this time they passed to one of their own players, luckily for us though Maiya tackled and passed to Faith who got the ball and scored. Again it was their center pass, this time I got the ball and passed to Maiya who then scored.

The whistle blew with the end score 5-0 to us. Man of the match was me, nominated by Kings Rochester

Well done to everyone in the team, there were some good attempts at goals, good tackling and some great goals scored.

On Thursday 7th November the U9 girls B team played Junior Kings Rochester at home.

We won the toss and chose first centre pass. River made an amazing pass to Paige who scored, this happened again and we were 2 – 0 up. Paige went off but that didn’t stop us as River ran up the pitch really fast and scored, doing this twice.

At quarter time Beatrice and I switched places and Faith also joined us on the pitch as centre. Faith worked really hard for the team and scored three goals being helped by some great play by Penelope.  Emmeline tackled and got the ball from the opposition which she passed to me and I managed to score. Rochester fought back and managed to score. Beatrice cleared lots of more balls that came her way and in the last minute Beaulieu scored taking the total to 9-1 to us.

Man of the match voted for by Kings Rochester was me.  I think the whole team played really well, so good job team and thank you to Hayley and Claire for the match tea.
