On Thursday 30th January the U9 A netball team played against Junior Kings School. We lost the toss but Lorenden was quick to challenge and won the ball. Lorenden got the ball down the court and Faith scored an amazing first goal. Now we were on a roll! Within no time, Lorenden once again had possession of the ball and with fantastic team work Faith scored another goal making it 2-0 to Lorenden.
In the second half, Kings played a lovely game scoring a much deserved goal shortly followed by a beautiful come back goal by Emily. Lorenden were a great team with special mention to Maiya and River for interceptin and getting free. 3- 1 to Lorenden. GO TEAM – keep it up!

On the 30th of January, the U9 netball B team played their first match of the season away at Junior Kings in Canterbury. The match was played indoors and the team all played very well with the overall score 3-0 to Lorenden. Goals were scored by Holly and Beaulieu.
It was year 3’s first ever netball match with all of them playing alongside some year 4’s. Girls of the match were Libby and Penny for excellent passing.
