On the 14th March Lorenden U9 girls A Team played Wellesley House School away. Lorenden had three teams and we all took it in turns to play the Wellesley team.  The sun had come out but it was still windy, making passing and scoring tricky at times.  Lorenden won the toss and took the first centre pass.  We played really well and spent a lot of the match in our D or our centre third. The final score was 3-1 to Lorenden, well done team.

On Thursday 14th March the U9 B team played Wellesley House.  We won the toss and managed to get the ball into the D.  They kept trying to score but it went off or onto the post.  Then it was half time.  Mrs Cornell gave us some encouraging words and then we started.  I threw it but unluckily they got it down into the D and scored.  We didn’t get that many more shorts but I think we did really well passing and defending.  The final whistle went and the end score was 1 - 0 to them.  Player of the Match was the whole team for not giving up!  Well done team.

On Thursday 14th March the U9 C team played Wellesley away.  After the long wait to play we got on the pitch.  With some good passing by Bea we scored.  Then although we tried our best to defend they managed to score.  The time whistle went and we drew 1 – 1.  Player of the Match was Caitlin for great defending.  Well done Caitlin and well done team.
