On Monday 30th September we all went to Ospringe Church to christen Lucy Georgina Neaves. The vicar shook hands with the mother and then she shook hands with the Godparents and said welcome to the church. Then the vicar said his lines out and then stopped and the baby got christened. The baby didn’t cry. Then the vicar put his hands on the baby and made the sign of the cross. The baby didn’t cry and then we sang a hymn. The vicar carried on with his lines and gave the baby back to his mother. We came back to Lorenden and had a party and I had lemonade and cake and a piece of biscuit and wine. I then went asleep at the end of the evening. JACK

The vicar was very happy. The baby was sweet and the baby laughed in joy. The baby didn’t cry in the church, it was happy. The vicar put his finger in the water and he made a sign of the cross. Everyone was pleased with joy. Everyone had wine. Cheers to Lucy Georgina Neaves. The christening was amazing. Everyone was tired. OLIVIA
