On Thursday, 19th September, the Under 9 boys A Team played St Faiths and Spring Grove away at Spring Grove.
First we played St Faiths. We all played well as a team and Xavier and the defence stopped a lot of goals. Final score was 1-0 to St Faiths.
Next we played Spring Grove. We tried our hardest but Spring Grove were good. Xavier and the defenders worked hard. We managed to break through with a couple of chances with me scoring a goal. Final score was 3-1 to Spring Grove.
Man of the matches goes to Xavier for his great goal keeping and keeping the opposition scores so low.

Our first match was against St Faiths. We took the kick-off and Alfie passed to me. I kicked it far and we charged. It was so close. It was hard work we almost scored 3 times. We were all worn out and the end score was 0 - 0. Player of this match was Harris.
The second match was against Spring Grove. It was hard work too. Spring Grove won 1 - 0. The player of the this match was Henry H.
