On Thursday 14th March Lorenden U9 Boys Hockey team played Junior Kings away. Kings made pressure and scored an early goal but, lucky for us, soon after we had a good shot at goal bringing the score to 1-1. There was good defence from Tom M. Rufus and Thomas B made some good clearances and passes.
There were some excellent goal line saves by Kings, making it hard for us to score, but we managed to score 3 more goals before half time. The halftime score was 4-1 to us.
Kings fought back in the second half and put our defence under pressure. They scored four goals and Liam scored another for us. It was a great game of hockey and the final score was 5-5.
