On Thursday 18th October the U9 A Team played St Lawrence College at home.
We got off to a good start with Dylan scoring first for Lorenden. Lorenden dominated for the remainder of the first half with another three goals following in quick succession - one more for Dylan and two from Tom M. When the whistle blew at half time, Lorenden were 4-0 ahead and we were all feeling very happy. Mr Waitt gave us some tips for improving our game, and we all tried to concentrate on spreading out and passing.
In the second half I managed to score another two goals from great passes and crosses from Liam and Tom.
Thomas and Sembeh had a quiet game in the Lorenden defence this week. Ashwin popped up in the opposition half to blast an excellent goal - his first for the school.
The final score was 7-0.
