Whole school Diwali Workshop 12.11.2018

Ashwin explained to the class how he celebrates Diwali at home, “ We set off fireworks in the garden, we created rangoli patterns at the doorstep, we ate indian sweets and we cleaned our house. We prayed to the gods: Ganesh and Lakshmi.”  Ashwin has shared his experiences with Year 4 who have also enjoyed finding out about Diwali at school. They have made diva lights, retold the story of Rama and Sita and participated in a Diwali dance workshop.
